There are so many different drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of choosing great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a good Lui Lui recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Lui Lui recipe includes these ingredients:

1 part vodka
1 part triple sec
1 part DeKuyper® Peachtree schnapps
1 splash sweet and sour mix
1 splash pineapple juice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
