There are many different drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of finding great wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Malibu Pink Panther recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Malibu Pink Panther recipe uses the following ingredients:
1/2 can pink lemonade
6 - 10 oz Malibu® coconut rum
1 1/2 oz whipped cream
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break your budget by drinking some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wines or no added preservative wine. I love American wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
