There are so many different beverages available now that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of finding excellent wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a great Mazrick recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Mazrick recipe includes these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
2 tsp Galliano® herbal liqueur
1 oz orange juice
1 oz pineapple juice
2 dashes bitters

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by having a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a tasty drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering buying.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic wine is less destructive for the environment. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
