Mean Green Machine recipe

There are many different beverages available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of finding delicious wines.

I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a great Mean Green Machine recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Mean Green Machine recipe uses only these ingredients:

1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 oz triple sec
1 oz Absolut® vodka
1 oz lime juice

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break your budget by having a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wines or preservative free wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
