There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of choosing delicious wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a good Midori Colada recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Midori Colada recipe includes the following ingredients:

1 part white rum
2 parts Midori® melon liqueur
2 parts cream of coconut
4 parts pineapple juice

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a tasty drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then check out Treehugger for help on how buying organic wine is less destructive for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
