There are many different drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to know which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of discovering great wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a great Milpsi recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Milpsi recipe consists of only these ingredients:
6 parts Pepsi® cola
1 part milk
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by having a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
If you are looking for more information on organic wines then visit Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic wine is less harmful for the environment. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
