Mistral recipe

There are plenty of different drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of choosing great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a great Mistral recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Mistral recipe uses these ingredients:

1 oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
2 oz dry white wine
1 tbsp frozen strawberries
3 tbsp crushed ice

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break a budget by drinking some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to order Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
