Modern Cocktail recipe

There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of finding excellent wines.

I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a good Modern Cocktail recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Modern Cocktail recipe includes only these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
1 tsp dark rum
1/2 tsp Pernod® licorice liqueur
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 dashes orange bitters

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break the budget by having some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.
