There are so many different beverages available these days that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a tasty Montgomery recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Montgomery recipe uses these ingredients:
3 3/4 oz gin
1/4 oz dry vermouth
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can often break your budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wine or preservative free wine. I adore Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
If you are looking for more information on organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how choosing organic wine is less harmful for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
