There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of choosing excellent wines.
I used to always drink cocktails and have a good Naked Navel recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Naked Navel recipe consists of only these ingredients:
1 oz Absolut® vodka
1/2 oz peach schnapps
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break a budget by drinking a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I adore American wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.
