There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I used to often drink cocktails and have a good Nasty Bitch recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Nasty Bitch recipe includes these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz tequila
1/2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by having a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy American wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
