There are so many different drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of discovering great wines.

I did mostly drink cocktails and have a good Nerds recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Nerds recipe includes only these ingredients:

1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
lemonade

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break a budget by consuming some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.
