There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. I did often drink cocktails and have a good New Orleans Martini recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the New Orleans Martini recipe consists of these ingredients:
3 oz Stoli® Vanil vodka
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1/2 oz Pernod® licorice liqueur
1 dash Angostura® bitters

I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
