There are plenty of different beverages available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the best ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.

I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Nolan recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Nolan recipe uses the following ingredients:

1 oz gin
1/2 oz Malibu® coconut rum
orange juice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break the budget by drinking a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.
