There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of choosing great wines.

I used to often drink cocktails and have a good Ooo recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Ooo recipe consists of these ingredients:

1 part orange juice
1 part orange soda
1 part orange vodka

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break a budget by drinking some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are thinking of buying.
