There are many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a great Organ Grinder recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Organ Grinder recipe consists of only these ingredients:
1 oz dark rum
1 oz light rum
1 oz whiskey
1 tbsp white creme de cacao
2 oz cream of coconut
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break your budget by having a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
