There are so many different drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of choosing excellent wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Peach Tumbler recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Peach Tumbler recipe includes these ingredients:
2 oz vodka
2 oz peach schnapps
1/4 oz peach soda water
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break your budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are considering purchasing.
