There are so many different drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of choosing delicious wines.

I did often drink cocktails and have a good Peach Up recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Peach Up recipe uses only these ingredients:

1 oz peach schnapps
1/2 oz gin
1 oz dry vermouth
4 oz 7-Up® soda

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can often break your budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wine or low sulphate wine. I adore French wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then visit Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic produce is less destructive for the environment. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
