There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering great wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a great Peppermint Pleasure recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Peppermint Pleasure recipe includes only these ingredients:
1 oz DeKuyper® Hot Damn cinnamon schnapps
2 oz Sprite® soda
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or no added preservative wine. I love French wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are contemplating buying.
