The odd glass of wine from time to time is not only delightful for many people, it is also thought to have numerous health benefits. While not necessarily proven, drinking the odd glass of wine, and red wine in particular, is widely thought to reduce the risk of heart disease, provide a certain amount of cancer protection and can possibly also significantly reduce the signs of aging.

Petite Sirah Wine in Monango

While it is true that I don't drink each day, I do delight in a glass of Petite Sirah wine every now and then, more often that not when I'm enjoying dinner with some friends. My last time in Monango was at Crazy Asian. That's a good place to eat and have a glass of Petite Sirah wine. Also, you may be able to also do a little celebrity spotting there as I have heard that Angie Harmon once went there. I'm not sure if I believe it though.

While I'm thinking about renowned people, that reminds me of this not so well known line:

Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck.

Not that I have any clue who wrote or said that and I admit I don't know why I quite suddenly recalled that but we can leave that for another time...

So anyway, if you are trying to have a nice small glass of wine (or two) in Monango, try some Petite Sirah wine, it's really delicious.
