There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of discovering great wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a great Pink Lady recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Pink Lady recipe includes the following ingredients:

1 1/2 oz gin
1 tsp grenadine syrup
1 tsp light cream
1 egg white

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break your budget by having a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore American wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
