Purple Devil recipe

There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a tasty Purple Devil recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Purple Devil recipe uses the following ingredients:

1 part triple sec
1 part Cointreau® orange liqueur
1 part amaretto almond liqueur
cranberry juice
1 splash 7-Up® soda

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break the budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are thinking of drinking.

If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how choosing organic produce is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
