There are many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.

I did mostly drink cocktails and have a great Purple Motherfucker #2 recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Purple Motherfucker #2 recipe consists of the following ingredients:

1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 part cranberry juice

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break the budget by having some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wine or low sulphate wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for information on how buying organic wine is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
