There are so many different beverages available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a good Rail Splitter recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Rail Splitter recipe includes the following ingredients:

2 tsp sugar syrup
lemon juice
ginger ale

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break the budget by consuming some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or no added preservative wine. I love French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are considering buying.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how choosing organic wine is less damaging for the environment. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
