There are many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a great Ruby Relaxer recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Ruby Relaxer recipe includes these ingredients:
1 shot peach schnapps
1 shot vodka
1 shot Malibu® coconut rum
pineapple juice
cranberry juice
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break a budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wine or no added preservative wine. I love American wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are considering drinking.
