There are so many different drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering great wines.

I would always drink cocktails and have a good Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer recipe which I used to make. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer recipe uses the following ingredients:

1 1/4 oz light rum
1 lemon wedge
1 1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
ice cubes
fill with cranberry juice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
