There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a good Rum Eggnog recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Rum Eggnog recipe includes the following ingredients:
2 oz light rum
6 oz milk
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 whole egg
nutmeg
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break your budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or no added preservative wine. I adore French wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are considering buying.
