There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I used to always drink cocktails and have a great Russian Comfort recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Russian Comfort recipe consists of these ingredients:
4 cl Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
Schweppes® Russian tonic water
1 splash lime juice
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break a budget by having a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wines or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
