There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of finding delicious wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a tasty Saucy Sue Cocktail recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Saucy Sue Cocktail recipe uses only these ingredients:
2 oz apple brandy
1/2 tsp apricot brandy
1/2 tsp Pernod® licorice liqueur
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wines or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of buying.
