There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering excellent wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a tasty Sazerac #2 recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Sazerac #2 recipe includes these ingredients:
45 ml Rebel Yell® bourbon whiskey
3 1/2 ml Pernod® licorice liqueur
2 ml Angostura® bitters
3 ml Peychaud® bitters
1 twist lemon peel
15 ml sugar syrup
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break a budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wine or preservative free wine. I love Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
If you are looking for more information on organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic produce is less destructive for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
