There are so many different drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of finding excellent wines.
I would always drink cocktails and have a good Serpentine recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Serpentine recipe uses only these ingredients:
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz brandy
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 tsp superfine sugar
1 twist lemon peel
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break a budget by consuming some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a tasty drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are considering drinking.
