There are many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a great Smartees recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Smartees recipe consists of these ingredients:

200 ml bottle Everclear® alcohol
12 oz bottle Sunny Delight® orange juice
8 oz can Red Bull® energy drink

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
