Snowball recipe

There are so many different drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of choosing great wines.

I would always drink cocktails and have a tasty Snowball recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Snowball recipe uses these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz advocaat liqueur
8 - 10 oz cold lemonade
1 slice lemon
ice cubes

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break a budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wines or preservative free wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic produce is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
