There are plenty of different beverages available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of discovering great wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a good Sour Pussy recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Sour Pussy recipe consists of the following ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
2 oz sweet and sour mix
1 splash lemon juice
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break your budget by having a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wines or preservative free wine. I adore American wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are contemplating buying.
