There are so many different drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.

I did often drink cocktails and have a good Spear Chugger recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Spear Chugger recipe uses these ingredients:

5 parts vodka
2 parts ice
1 part orange juice
1 part lemon juice
vinegar

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break your budget by drinking some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then visit Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic food is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
