There are so many different beverages available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering excellent wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a great Spooge recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Spooge recipe uses these ingredients:

1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1 oz Malibu® coconut rum
1 oz cream

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break the budget by drinking a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy French wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
