There are so many different beverages available these days that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.
I did always drink cocktails and have a good Steel Vomit recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Steel Vomit recipe includes the following ingredients:
2 oz Jose Cuervo® Clasico silver tequila
2 oz Christian Brothers® Frost White brandy
1/2 oz Everclear® alcohol
2 oz Yukon Jack® Perma Frost schnapps
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break your budget by drinking some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
