There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of finding excellent wines.
I used to often drink cocktails and have a tasty Strawberry Cream recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Strawberry Cream recipe includes the following ingredients:
1 oz gin
3 oz strawberry puree
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 tsp caster sugar
2 tbsp strawberry ice cream
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break your budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love French wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine information to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are considering buying.
