Swedish Blue recipe

There are plenty of different drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of choosing great wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a tasty Swedish Blue recipe which I used to make. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Swedish Blue recipe uses only these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Absolut® vodka
1/2 oz armagnac
1/2 oz blueberry syrup
1 tsp Blue Curacao liqueur
1/3 oz lime juice

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break the budget by having some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wines or preservative free wine. I adore Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then visit Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic wine is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
