There are many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering excellent wines.
I would mostly drink cocktails and have a great Teddybear recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Teddybear recipe uses only these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz root beer schnapps
1/2 oz vodka
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break a budget by consuming some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
