There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.

I did often drink cocktails and have a good The Captains Silver Sunrise recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the The Captains Silver Sunrise recipe includes these ingredients:

1 shot Captain Morgan® Silver spiced rum
1 1/2 shots Captain Morgan® Parrot Bay coconut rum
1 splash orange juice
1 splash cranberry juice

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break your budget by having a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wines or no added preservative wine. I adore American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
