The Green Wave recipe

There are so many different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of finding excellent wines.

I used to often drink cocktails and have a great The Green Wave recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the The Green Wave recipe includes only these ingredients:

1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 oz vodka
1 oz gin
1/2 oz triple sec

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break your budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are considering drinking.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how buying organic food is less destructive for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
