There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing delicious wines.

I used to often drink cocktails and have a great Tomorrow We Sail recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Tomorrow We Sail recipe consists of only these ingredients:

3 1/2 oz Champagne
1/2 oz LBV port
1/2 oz dark rum
1 tsp triple sec

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break the budget by drinking a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy French wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic produce is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.

If you have a favourite wine which you like to drink then spread the word by leaving us a message or if you have any questions such as which are the best value for money wines or anything about champagne then ask us and we will get back to you!
