Having a glass or two of wine from time to time is not only loosening for quite a lot of people, it is also accepted by many to have many health benefits. While not proven, consumption of wine, and red wine in particular, is widely accepted to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, provide an increased amount of cancer protection and could also significantly defer the signs of aging.
Turkish Wine in Palmyra
It is definitely true that I don't really drink wine on a fairly regular basis, I do devour a glass of Turkish wine every now and then, most often when I am enjoying dinner with my friends. The last time I spent an evening out in Palmyra was at Edgewood Restaurant. I know that restaurant is a excellent place to eat dinner and drink a glass of Turkish wine. As an aside, you can possibly also do a little bit of celebrity spotting there as a couple of people told me that Christina Aguilera once made an appearance there. However that may not be true.
While on the subject of celebrities, that reminds me of an old famous quote:
Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws.
I admit I don't know who said that and I'm not sure why I quite suddenly recalled that but I digress...
Back on topic, if you are hoping to have a good little glass of wine (or three) in Palmyra, try some Turkish wine, it's amazing.
