There are plenty of different drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Velvet Hammer recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Velvet Hammer recipe includes only these ingredients:
2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
2 oz Tia Maria® coffee liqueur
2 oz half-and-half
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break a budget by having some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wines or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
