There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of finding great wines.
I used to often drink cocktails and have a great Virgin Pussy recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Virgin Pussy recipe uses only these ingredients:
1 oz watermelon schnapps
1 oz cinnamon schnapps
1 pinch sugar
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break your budget by having a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
