There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. I would always drink cocktails and have a good Waldorf-Astoria Eggnog recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Waldorf-Astoria Eggnog recipe consists of the following ingredients:

2 egg yolks
1/4 oz cream
1/2 oz sugar syrup
nutmeg
3/4 oz tawny port
1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
3 1/2 oz milk

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I love French wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are considering drinking.
