There are many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of discovering excellent wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a good Weakness recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Weakness recipe uses only these ingredients:

1 oz Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps
1 oz Rumple Minze® peppermint liqueur
1 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by consuming some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy French wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine information to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
