There are many different drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering delicious wines.

I used to often drink cocktails and have a good Whiskey Peach Smash recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Whiskey Peach Smash recipe consists of these ingredients:

1 small peach
3 mint leaves
2 pieces lemons
1 oz water
1/2 oz simple syrup
2 oz Canadian whisky

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break your budget by drinking a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wine or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are considering buying.

If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how buying organic produce is less harmful for soils. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
