Yellow Parrot recipe

There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of discovering excellent wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a tasty Yellow Parrot recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Yellow Parrot recipe uses the following ingredients:

3/4 oz Yellow Chartreuse®
3/4 oz apricot brandy
1/4 oz anisette

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break your budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love American wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine information to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how choosing organic produce is less harmful for out planet. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
